The CW’s Gotham Knights had already been one of the most diverse series when it came to the LGBTQIA+ community, and with the June 6 episode, they very much rewarded fans with a Pride Month treat, as Stephanie Brown (Anna Lore) finally admitted her feelings and kissed Harper Row (Fallon Smythe).
This was a creative choice that was a long time coming — the original audition sides even included the duo argue-flirting — and co-creator Natalie Abrams tonight posted her thoughts in revealing that Stephanie’s coming out journey was similar to her own. “Of course someone who has spent her whole life having to put on a facade never got a chance to figure out who she was. It just felt right,” Natalie said in her heartfelt post.
