Gotham Knights has cast Damon Dayoub and Lauren Stamile in the recurring roles of Lincoln and Rebecca March, parents of Rahart Adams‘ character Brody March.
Lincoln March is described as “a charismatic, self-made industrialist with designs on becoming Gotham’s next mayor, the only thing more important to Lincoln than his legacy is the power he wields as one of the city’s elite.”
Rebecca is described as “old-money elegant” who “plays the dutiful ‘Good Wife”’to her business mogul husband. A caring and supportive mother, one would never know she’s trapped in an unhappy marriage”
“We are absolutely thrilled to add Lauren and Damon to our already stellar cast,” the Gotham Knights producers said in a statement. “It’s very fitting for their characters in particular to join our world of Gotham. And while fans of the comics may recognize Lincoln’s name, they should expect some twists in the stories to come.”
And about those twists: The DC Comics Wiki notes this about comics’ take on Lincoln March – a character who has thought himself to possibly be Bruce Wayne’s brother: “Though it is uncertain whether Lincoln March is truly Thomas Wayne, Jr., Martha Wayne was pregnant at the time of a car crash at the intersection of Lincoln and March, and official records indicate that the baby was born, but did not survive the night.” The March character in the comics has been tied to the Court of Owls and has even worn an “Owlman” costume. Hmm… this is most interesting, though, as it ties Brody to another big Bat-character and it might give him a tie to Bruce Wayne.
Dayoub is best known for such TV series as NCIS and Stitchers; Stamile’s credits include Complications, Grey’s Anatomy and 9-1-1.
